Join Eve Alfillé at the Evanston History Center as she shares lessons learned during the thirty-year existence of her gallery, and tells the story behind many of the works on display in the current exhibition, "The Finishing Touch: Evanston Accessorized!" This exhibit features a chronological survey of Eve's fine art jewelry pieces, on view through December.

Acquirent, a sales and marketing company in downtown Evanston, is hosting two 70-minute CPR Trainings on Friday, October 27 at 12-1:15pm and 1:30-3pm. Basic CPR will be covered as well as the use of an Automated External Defibrillator device (AED). Attendees will be awarded an American Heart Association credential card good for 2 years.
The class will be led by Emily Bonanno. She has trained individuals and groups across Chicagoland for the American Heart Association – and holds a Master Degree in counseling and has previously served as medical support for wildfire fighting teams in Colorado and the American West.
